Class
These are not secretagogues and not hormones. They are pieces: a C-terminal fragment of human growth hormone, and a splice variant of insulin-like growth factor 1 that muscle expresses after loading, sold both plain and pegylated. Each was isolated on the hypothesis that one useful action of a large protein could be separated from the rest of it.
The class is the index's clearest demonstration that a regulatory record and an evidence record are different things. All three members have been named in FDA documents, one of them voted on by an advisory committee. None has a published human trial of the marketed compound.

The records are at AOD-9604, refused 0 to 12 in December 2024; PEG-MGF, whose twelve trial-type records all measure endogenous expression rather than the injected peptide; and its unpegylated parent mechano growth factor, which sits in Category 3 while the pegylated form sits in no category at all. The human trial record prints all three, and the nomination tracker files each by what became of its nomination.
The 2026 WADA Prohibited List names AOD-9604 (section S2.2.3) and Mechano growth factor (section S2.3). It does not name PEG-MGF, and that is not the same as permitted: the relevant sections are expressly non-exhaustive, and section S0 covers any substance with no current approval for human therapeutic use.
