PeptideAmerica

US status

Research-only

Two paths lead here. Some peptides left Category 2 in April 2026 without being scheduled for advisory review; others saw their nominations withdrawn earlier and sit on no list at all. In both cases the arithmetic is the same: no listing, no approval, no lawful compounding route.

Removal from a prohibition list reads like progress, and sellers of research-use-only material market it that way. It is not an authorization. Material sold under these names is chemical supply produced outside pharmacy licensure, prescriber oversight, and pharmaceutical quality standards; its identity and sterility rest on the vendor's word.
