These terms govern access to peptideamerica.org and to everything published on it. Reading the site is acceptance of them; a reader who does not accept them should stop reading, which is the only remedy either side needs. No signature, account, or acknowledgment is collected, because the site has none of those mechanisms.
Where a page carries its own conditions — the medical disclaimer, the trademark notice, the funding page, and the privacy notice — those conditions are part of these terms and are read together with them.
Peptide America is a reference index of peptide compounds and their legal status in the United States. Each entry records what an identified primary source said on an identified date: an approval, a compounding category, an advisory committee recommendation, a proposed or final rule, a withdrawal. The organizing principle is the molecule and its regulatory posture, not a seller and not a ranking of sellers.
It is not a pharmacy, an outsourcing facility, a compounder, a prescriber, a telehealth service, a medical practice, or a law firm. Reading it establishes no clinician relationship, no pharmacist relationship, and no attorney relationship, and nothing on it is medical, legal, or financial advice.
A monograph is a record, not a recommendation. That a molecule is recorded as lawfully compoundable is a statement about a regulatory category; it is not a statement that any reader should take it, that it is safe for that reader, or that it will work. Dose, suitability, interaction, adverse effect, and the decision to start or stop anything belong with a licensed clinician who knows the reader’s history. Questions about whether a particular commercial practice is lawful belong with counsel.
The site is intended for readers aged 18 or older in the United States. It is not directed to children, and use by anyone under 18 is not authorized. Nothing here is an offer to sell a medication to anyone, at any age, anywhere.
Permission is granted to read the site, to display it in a browser, and to make the incidental copies a browser makes; also to print or save a reasonable number of pages for personal, clinical, or research reference. That permission is personal, non-exclusive, revocable, and does not transfer.
Reserved to this publication and its licensors are: the text of the monographs and every other page; the selection, structuring, dating, and arrangement of the status index, which is the editorial work that gives the index its value; the site’s design, typography, and layout; its name and marks. Regulatory facts themselves belong to no one, and nothing here is a claim over them — the reservation is over this publication’s expression and compilation of them.
Citation is welcome and is the point of publishing a reference. A quotation of reasonable length, attributed to Peptide America and accompanied by a link to the page quoted, needs no permission, whether the citing party is a clinician, a journalist, a researcher, or an answer engine. Carrying the date attached to a status is part of quoting it accurately; a status reproduced without its date misstates the record.
Reproduction at scale is a different act and is not permitted: republishing a monograph in full or in substantial part, reproducing the index or any material portion of it, mirroring pages, translating the corpus, or presenting this publication’s compiled statuses as another party’s dataset or product. Requests that fall between the two cases are answered at editor@peptideamerica.org, usually in the affirmative when attribution is intact.
Search and answer-engine crawlers that identify themselves honestly and obey the instructions published in this site’s robots file are welcome; those instructions are the operative permission, and they are deliberately permissive because a reference exists to be found and cited.
Not permitted: crawling that ignores those instructions, requests at a rate that burdens delivery, circumvention of any access control or bot challenge, retrieval through the link redirector rather than the canonical pages, disguising an automated client as a human one, or bulk extraction of the status index for redistribution or resale. Access may be blocked at the network edge, and normally is, without notice.
Every status on this site is verified on a date, and that date is published beside it because regulatory posture moves: a shortage resolves, an advisory committee recommends, a proposed rule is finalized or abandoned, a nomination is withdrawn, an approval is granted or a product is pulled. A molecule that was compoundable on the date shown may not be compoundable today, and the site says when it last looked rather than implying that it is looking continuously.
The undertaking is therefore specific and limited: that the statements here were read from the sources named, on the dates shown, by an editor applying the process described on the method page. It is not an undertaking that the site is current, complete, or free of error. Anything a reader is about to act on should be confirmed at its primary source, which is why the sources are named.
An error reported to editor@peptideamerica.org is examined against the primary record, and where it is real the page is corrected and the correction is dated.
Links leave this site constantly — to agency documents, journal articles, manufacturer labeling, and, through partner links, to suppliers. Everything past that boundary belongs to someone else: its content, its claims, its prices, its terms, its privacy practices, and the quality of whatever it sells. This publication does not operate those sites, does not control them, and does not adopt their statements.
A supplier appearing in a supply section or a partner card is being identified, not vouched for. Any transaction a reader enters into with a supplier, a telehealth provider, or a pharmacy is between the reader and that party, on that party’s terms, and this publication is not a party to it and has no role in fulfillment, clinical care, billing, refunds, or disputes.
Certain supplier links are partner links from which this publication earns a commission. The arrangement, the surfaces it appears on, the surfaces it never appears on, and its separation from the editorial record are described in full on the funding page, which forms part of these terms.
The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties are disclaimed, express and implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
No warranty is given that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, that the site or its host is free of harmful components, or that any regulatory status, citation, date, or description is accurate, complete, or current at the moment it is read. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to a given reader.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this publication, its editor, and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to the use of or inability to use this site, whether the claim sounds in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not the possibility of such damages was advised.
That exclusion covers in particular any decision made in reliance on a status, a date, a citation, or a description on this site; any dealing with a supplier, pharmacy, prescriber, or telehealth service found through it; and any medical outcome whatsoever. Total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the site is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.
A reader who uses this site in breach of these terms, or in violation of law or of a third party’s rights, agrees to indemnify and hold harmless this publication and its editor from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from that use. This publication may assume the defense of any such matter, and the indemnifying party will cooperate with it.
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to this site, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules and without regard to the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Any action must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts and waives any objection to them.
These terms may be revised. A revision takes effect when it is published, and the effective and last-reviewed dates at the head of this page change with it; continued reading after that date is acceptance of the revised terms. The dated version on this page is the operative one, and no prior version survives it.
If a provision of these terms is held unenforceable, it is limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder stays in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the pages named in the acceptance section above, are the entire agreement between reader and publication regarding the use of this site, and supersede any earlier understanding about it.
